For those who aren't aware of it, Yuletide is a rare fandoms fanfic exchange that takes part around Christmas every year. Unfortunately nominations are over, but there are over 3000 fandoms in the tag set, so chances are good of finding something that interests you. Yuletide takes place on AO3 with most of the "support" being on Livejournal/Dreamwidth, but you don't actually need to have an account on either journal. Check it out here:

DAMN! I just missed signups by a week! ARGH!
I've read some awesome rarepairs from Yuletide (Slave-Bear of Care-A-Lot, for instance). I just never had the guts to signup. Now that I do, of course, I missed it. Actually hadn't thought about it in a few years.
Well . . . I guess there's always 2017. I'm gonna see if I can put these pertinent dates on the calendar for this site.

DAMN! I just missed signups by a week! ARGH! NO! You have not missed signups. All you have missed is nominations. Signups haven't even started yet, and won't for several days. Chances are that you can find things in the tag set (that others have nominated) that interest you. There are over 3000 fandoms available. Anime, video games, movies, tv shows, RPF, podcasts, commercials - you name it. |
