You might want to consider combining the "rare crossovers" and "popular crossovers" boards. As I believe you mentioned somewhere, crossovers in general are pretty rare - and as it is, where do you post if you cross a rare fandom with a popular one? Or you might want to have a board for "in-universe" crossovers and one for crossovers that aren't in-universe. (By in-universe, I mean for example SG1/SGA, or Buffy/Angel - which are much more common than for example Buffy/SGA with two fandoms which don't exist in the same universe.)
I think that at least until you get a lot of members and a lot of traffic, less might be more in terms of having less separate boards. It might make the board look more popular and also be easier to navigate if you had fewer boards with more posts in each, rather than having many boards with no/few posts.

Just suggested fewer boards, and yet here I am about to suggest adding one. Generally not my thing, but you might want to add an area for RPF. On the other hand - as I keep poking around, I see 3 boards for original fic - short, medium and long. Those could probably be combined?

I did consider adding RPF, but didn't, because I'm . . .kinda put off by it? It feels like crossing a line? And it doesn't feel like it's FANDOM, since it's not about fandom, but real people.
I think I might start a poll and see what people--all three of you, so far, lol--think about adding it. If there's a majority wanting it, I'll make a category and board(s) for it.
Not gonna combine the short, medium, and long works because I've seen them separated in other forums and it made things SO MUCH NEATER and easier to navigate. Some people ONLY wanna read shorts, and don't want to wade through mediums and longs. And so on. It may not look as streamlined or economical, but in the end, it'll make things easier for everyone. At least I think it will. I'll give a bit and see how things shake out. If it gets too . . . too, then I'll merge the three boards into ONE MASSIVE BOARD.
Admin-ing is hard work! But kinda fun :-)
